What happens when a detective calls me?

Many times I am called after a detective calls my client – regarding false, or sometimes true, allegations.  My clients run the gambit of people who did not give a statement, or who were forced/tricked into giving a statement regarding what happened.  Almost always it is more intelligent, safer, for you to refuse to cooperate with the police. As a former prosecutor I can assure you contacting a criminal lawyer before talking to the detective, or police, is your best choice.

As a former prosecutor I can tell you my easiest cases to win were the cases where the defendant tried to be completely honest with the police.  These people are good people who thought if they were nice, or honest, with the police that they would just get a warning and be sent upon their way.  Sadly when the police investigate they are looking to charge someone, probably you.

If you, your family, or friend have been contacted by the police it is important that you call us right away so that we can start defending you.

Call us at (330) 752-6711 for your absolutely free, no obligation, pressure free consultation with an Akron Criminal Lawyer concerning your case.  My name is Joe Patituce and I promise that I, and my staff, will treat you with the respect that you deserve.
